Pitch In for John Ball: Help Us Build a Brighter Future for Play!

We are so excited to launch our latest fundraising project, and we need your help to make it happen!

The Friends of John Ball Primary School are currently raising funds to replace our well-loved, but now worn-out, artificial grass pitch.  

Our current pitch has served us well since 2010, but it is now past its expected lifespan. It is time to replace it with a modern, high-quality solution that will serve our children for the next 15+ years.  

What We’re Building
Our goal is to install a brand-new Sport England Type 4 polymeric sports surface. This durable, all-weather playing surface is designed to be future-proof and will bring so many benefits to our pupils:  
* Multi-sport Versatility: The new surface will feature markings for football, netball, hockey, basketball, and more, all on one surface.  
* All-Weather Play: With improved drainage, the pitch will remain playable throughout the autumn and spring terms, no matter the weather.  
* More Space to Play: The new design covers the full area to the edges of the playground, giving all 600+ of our pupils much more space to run, play, and learn.
